Listen, I'm off the Butch train as much as anyone right now. He is his own worst enemy, but I won't get into that right now. However, I am absolutely floored at the number of people saying they would take Kiffin back. What are we? The ugly ex-girlfriend that wants her man back?? Because that is exactly what some of you are acting like right now. Don't get me wrong, I believe he has grown up over the last few years and will be a good coach for someone in the near future, but good God people... not here, not ever!
Some of you can't think past the hiring process because the first time things go wrong, oh my God the shit show that would ensue. Not to mention if he left us again. That would cement us as a stepping stone job, and we are so much better than that!
Even if he had a $100,000,000 buyout, I would never trust him again. I'm staggered that some of you would give him the keys when we are at our most vulnerable state as a program in my lifetime. (the last 10 years) I would literally take anyone over him.... except Dooley.
