pretty much a sure thing according to the War Room which should really help recruiting especially Wells in the mid-state area which could not be better timing with all the talent there.
Now if he could bring Austin home from LSU to replace Welton that would be the "koo de gra".
S&C - massively upgrade from Buffalo Butt
OL - if Wells hired, at least as good of a coach as Mahoney, 100 times better recruiter
DL - Hoke better recruiter than Strip but I thought Strip was solid overall but still an upgrade IMO
DB - the coaching can't be any worse than WM but the recruiting should be much much better especially with his ties in Georgia.
OC - Larry Scott, better recruiter than Deboard, remains to be seen on OC responsibilities. CMD was good but when we faced teams that were similar talent level or better, he got shut down.
QBC - Canales, remains to be seen but hopefully we can get back in it with Lawrence or Fields, and I would think just having a QB coach will be a positive in recruiting.
