In the last 12 hours:
- AP has said Francis has continued to take his calls and can’t say the same for some national guys (I would take that as a good sign for Vols. Don’t know the guy personally but FM seems like a values/morals type kid and leading AP on seems not very likely. Especially after AP also said FM has been “good to him” so far)
- FM posted on his IG story 8 hours ago of his time at the lake in Knox. Tagged Sham in it as well. (See above on what the kid’s character seems to be like. Again, seems like a good sign)
- The predictions on On3 heavily favor Vols and haven’t changed in days (including some big time analysts who seem to hit a lot more than miss). Good sign.
The only negative thoughts I can think of re: FM recruiting are 1. He’s randomly trying to build up Vols to eventually shock ppl with picking Miami and/or 2. Miami still has a swinger’s chance with them blowing him away with an insane NIL offer at the last minute.
Anything can happen of course, but the majority (if not all) of the “tea leaves” point to the good guys. The Samoan family helping guide him and come to a decision would likely not be cool with him playing a fanbase 24-48 hours out. JMO.
