At this point, how college football being played is anyone’s best guess. I see the first problem being colleges resuming normal student life this fall. A lot of schools are strongly considering going online only in the fall. Unlikely that you can ask amateur student athletes to congregate when the normal student isn’t allowed to.

There is also the fear of the second wave in the fall that would propose issues, even if normal campus life returns.

The other big issue are large crowds. That is going to be the last thing that gets back to normal.

What are the most realistic contingency plans?

1.) If college campuses resume, play without fans for awhile? Do you alter the schedule if fans cannot be there to increase TV revenue?
2.) If college campuses don’t resume normal, is the season dead until the spring semester?
3.) If the season doesn’t start until January, it would almost have to be abbreviated to not impact 2021, right?
