Many times at the beginning of last season until about midway, I felt like Dobbs was trying to force himself (or being reinforced) to be a pocket passer. His spontaneity was missing and, ergo, his mojo. My concern this year is that's there has been so much talk about the downfield passing game that he will forgo lesser opportunities for material yardage gains looking for the big strike.
This offense just doesn't do well with third and long.
I welcome contrary views!
