He took over a mess, and is getting paid a lot of money to rebuild a program, which I respect and believe most (not recently) understand how difficult the situation. On paper we hired two good coordinators and there is either a chemistry issue or lack of talent. (Or both...)
It’s time for the youth movement after the bye week. Sitting them on the bench over the last 2 1/2 years while losing 12+ games by 21, losing to BYU, Georgia State, Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt is unacceptable.
The kids are not going to be perfect, but it’s about 2021-22, and we are already losing these type games anyway and are not even competitive against the big boys.
It’s time for the youth movement. Let them make plays (Hyatt), let them make mistakes, and then develop/coach them up on the sidelines, film session and practice field like you were expected and hired to do.
We have seen enough from a few of the upperclassmen to know what we have on the roster.
