The Hurd story for better or worse will be the defining story of the 2016 season -the unprecedented number of injuries aside - and it wasn't reported on until he is out the door even though it's obvious that it was a long time coming. Did the story get buried? Protecting the student athlete? Protecting the team? I'm just a fan but looks to me like it cost the team greatly the way it unfolded.
