There are a few different ways to set up the schedule I'm sure; especially for just one year. And I'm positive if any games are to be dropped, It will be the little school games. That is where I see the issue. For teams like tennessee, Georgia, Oklahoma ECT...the money will be there. Fans will flock. Especially this year. I am so bored that I would go right now. No spring ball, no recruiting updates or practice reports and everyone is jonesin'. But what about the little guy? For most of them these games are the largest payday of the year. Without these paydays some schools may even lose their football program and maybe other sport programs too.
Tennessee will pay charlotte 1.3million and Fuhrman 1/2million. We will pay troy 1.4million. I'm sure we are not the only conference talking of cancelling those games. But if all 5 power5 conferences cancel all the little guys then it seems to me that hurts college football worse than not cancelling. I say if we are gonna have a season at all then play all 12 games, or there could be another option. The power5 conference school could cancel their cupcakes and just pay them anyways. What say you guys?
