Z has gone south in getting top talent there. Our best 1 almost flipped and has serious grade concerns. Another is considering 2 Florida tech directional schools this AM. He's run his course. WR coach is usually an elite recruiter too. And we are WRU! Punter U too but I don't want to be known more for that.
2. The 10th full time coach position must be an elite recruiter.
3. Thig needs to be moved to a different area if he's at all an issue in middle TN
4. We must kill it in....a. TN and b. NC and VA going forward to compete. Then FL. Georgia is going to be very very difficult if they win this year but that we did so so so so poorly there this year and now suddenly SC is beating us for recruits too.
5. Can't load up early again with too many marginal players. Maybe Conliffe is slow and not explosive as many say incl @Austin_Price but could we have had Etienne over Clemson? Pouncey over Texas? Any one else???
What if we had beat Vandy and gone to the sugar bowl and won? Or beat usce jr tech? Can you imagine the attrition from our commit list to get a top 8 class?
*I do agree with @Brent_Hubbs that this class is a B. I think Doug Mathews would say the same and has. Its better than what many have said. Just imagine if we got Akers and Ray.....A totally different feeling.
6. No doubt 2018 must be solidly inside the top 10. And IMO that starts with @ least 1 and I hope 2 new elite recruiting coaching hires and a new strategy for instate recruiting.
7. Gotta win at least 9 regular season games and show improvement.
