This team has some concerns in many areas, but I thought that the defensive key last night would the front 4 and it was unfortunately.

UT will have to find guys who can rush the passer of the edge and collapse the pocket inside to become a better defense. This helps corners not get exposed when QBs are running for their lives. UT has to get dynamic on the DLine next year.

Yes, the safeties are tremendously slow, but honestly neither seem to possess great football instincts either, CB and Safety is a must in the portal.

Must have another backer to go with Banks, say what you want about the kid, but I would take 11 of his kind of player all day long. He plays hard every snap, has gotten better as the year has went on. Batman needs a Robin though.

Depth, depth and more depth has to be improved on defense. Younger guys have to take ownership of their work ethic for this team to be improved next year.

The offense has to find a RT and back up LT to truly be all it can on the line of scrimmage. I would look hard in the portal for that guy or guys.

Hyatt can and will be able to replace Payton and I honestly think he will be better than him next year at that position. Velus will be hard to replace but maybe Callaway makes the strides he needs to become that replacement.

Short yardage offense will have to have some serious evaluation and honestly these spread coaches need to look no further than going under center to find the answer.

Developing a backup QB will also be a must bc as much as Hooker runs it, it's not if he gets hurt it's when and how serious. Milton, Jackson or whoever needs to really be ready to go by fall.

Finally, the return specialist has to be found and maybe Holiday could be that guy.
