Losing my best friend tomorrow

Tomorrow I am having my 13 and a half year old golden retriever put down. I got her a month after I got married and she’s been my constant companion through every major event of my adult life. I’ve been holding her on my lap and reminiscing through pictures, sobbing like a child for the past hour. Life is meant to be experienced with a dog best friend, but damn this hurts so bad.
