Team 120 is going to be loaded as it is.
On offense, you'll have a stud senior QB with a ton of talent behind him; skill players out the wazzoo; a much more experienced, talented, and deep OL than we've had in years. On defense, you'll have better DL talent than you've had in years; a stud senior LB with more talent, depth and experience than at the very least this year; and a secondary that even without Cam will be (once again) deeper, more talented and more experienced than this year. BUT you've got some questions if you want to truly consider yourself "loaded for bear," the answers for which we don't know exist on the current roster.
Specifically, on defense, to make this an elite DL, you need 1) another high level DT ready to step in with McKenzie/Tuttle so that DOB/Vickers/Picou can be more depth than full-time rotation players, and 2) an impact rush DE (which you might have in someone like Taylor or a healthy Phillips). You need at least one, if not two instant impact DBs to fortify what you'll have in a talented trio of Martin/Moseley/Miller. And you need better S play (although TK/Berry/Griffin/Abernathy have real talent back there).
So what are we adding on defense who should be instant impact? Arguably the #1 JUCO DT in the country in Johnson, who is an EE. Osborne, a stud CB who's an EE too. The CB Henderson from JUCO, a kid with really nice size/speed who'll also be in for spring. And we're getting a visit from another bigtime JUCO CB in King (an EE). Lastly, we just offered a 6'6 230lb rush DE who is an EE and I have to assume we're his leader at this point. Not sure if we get/take him or not, but Joejuan Williams is an EE too.
On offense, I think even if we didn't add Fils-aime our RB depth is going to be outstanding. With him it's ridiculous. By being able to redshirt Richmond and Boulware, then add Stewart in January, you'll effectively have 3 very talented newcomers on the OL in the spring. What we do need more than anything on offense is more depth and explosiveness at WR.
So what are we adding on offense who should be instant impact? A 6'6 WR in Jeff George (JUCO EE) with good speed and great ball skills. And I think we get Kyle Davis, who's an EE and IMO is college ready and would be an instant impact guy IMO.
I think this class has some nice high school commitments that could play some kind of role in 2016 even if they aren't EEs. And there is a lot out there in terms of guys we are strongly in the mix for who could also contribute heavily in 2016 - thinking Warrior, Hardman and D. Brown at the top of that list (remember I am not talking about good longer-term prospects like a Giles-Christmas or Okonya). But adding the guys above would fill holes on this roster that are IMO the only thing holding Team 120 back from being a serious SEC and National title contender. I think the coaches know they potentially have a serious contender on their hands for next season, and are recruiting JUCOs and EEs accordingly. I like it.
