It goes without saying that there has been a ton of angst regarding our OL. You've told me to be patient. I get it, but this is a board where we can cuss and discuss TN VOL football. I love to share and read your opinions.
Our OL was bad last year, MJ appears lost for the year, our options seem primarily limited to the same kids who didn't play well last year (granted a year older, wiser, and stronger), and most are deeply concerned that our OL will continue to be a liability.
You're on record, if I'm correct, that this is the year that the Gay Street Wolves may begin to howl. Perhaps the honeymoon is over. The Sunshine Pumpers, probably the majority, are prognosticating 9, 10, or even 11 wins. The NegaVols, a vocal minority, say 6 or 7. More levelheaded folks are hoping for 9, think 8 is doable, but realize we're an injury away from 7 or even 6 wins.
Given this environment, a few questions for you:
1) Based on what you know today, how many regular season wins would you predict?
2) Hard to quantify, but how much improvement do you think we'll see from our OL?
3) How many wins does CBJ need to keep the MoJo flowing and the NegaVols (mostly) quite?
4) Will we be a factor in this years SECE race?
5) IYO, will we challenge for the SECC next year?
