So I’m stationed at Scott Air Force Base by St. Louis and May 20th is Scott AFB appreciation day (or something along those lines) at Busch Stadium. Will have a bunch of military on the field for the National Anthem, lots of love over the PA, And that type of stuff. After receiving tickets my Commander notified me that he was putting my name forward to throw out the first pitch. Now Its probably safe to assume other units will send a name forward as well, but obviously I am ecstatic at the possibility. Now here is my real dilemma. If I DO get selected, should I just stroll up to the bump and toss it in to Yadi? Or do I fire off some incredibly horrible throw, maybe hit an umpire, and hope to get some TV time out of it?
