He had two winning seasons there his last two seasons. The Mountain West is a really bad football conference outside of Boise State and Utah State. The rest of the of conference is well below .500. All of the wins are against FCS schools, a historically bad Colorado team and then bad teams like Air Force, New Mexico, Tulsa, UTEP, SJSU and Hawaii teams. We are talking about 1-4 win teams. He split with AF and Nevada, but the years he beat those teams they were 2-10 and 4-8. I'm not buying that he is some sort of great or even good coach. He's probably slightly above average.
