The Braves (Liberty Media) are the only publicly traded team. In 18 they made $8m. In 19 they lost $32m. Yet, most in the media suggest that baseball teams/owners are hugely profitable and are being greedy with their negotiations.
If the teams don't make money, they can't stay in business. What am I missing here?
