two games today settled by poor slides into home.
Detroit had the Pirates beat, but slide allows the catcher to tag him (on a great play). Blame it on the on deck guy, or the runner... but a slide on the inside of the line and the game is over.
Braves lose to Phillies on Bourjos slide in bottom of 8th. Lead foot pops up and gets tagged before his knee slides through plate. Maybe just misfortune? Either way.. kinda sucks to lose like that.
