We had it early on Georgia’s bad snap. We lost it on Johnson’s stupid penalty. We gained it back when the defense stuffed Georgia on fourth down in our territory. Carried it in a big way to the half after the goal line stand. JG immediately gave it back by not protecting the football to start the second half, but things were somewhat neutralized by the defense holding them to a fg. JG gives it right back to Georgia again by making a desperate throw off his back foot for the pick. Those first two mistakes to start the second half sucked the life out of our guys and we just never recovered.
We can play with a team like Georgia. Everybody saw that in the first half. You just can’t make the mistakes we made and expect to win. Yesterday sucked, but we’re closer than some of you think.
