Butch Jones and new OC Larry Scott were in the west Tennessee having an in-home with Latrell Bumphus earlier tonight.

On Monday, Jones will turn his attentions to Virginia where he and Steve Stripling are expected to see Ryan Thaxton, Eric Crosby and Elijah Conliffe.

Tuesday, Jones will be back in the Sunshine State seeing Kivon Bennett, receiver Josh Palmer along with Auburn commitment and running back Devan Barrett. Wednesday, Jones is expected to work the state of Georgia and then on Thursday Jones will be Alabama to see commitment Will Ignont and target LaBryan Ray.

Tennessee is expected to have a host of coaches in Alabama. Tommy Thigpen, Steve Stripling and Butch are all expected to be in to see Ray and there could be more.

Scott will be Florida to start the week checking in on some 2018 prospects before joining Jones Tuesday in the Sunshine State.

Don Mahoney is scheduled to work the Northeast in areas like Pennsylvania and Maryland seeing some 2018 prospects.

As we noted on Sunday new quarterbacks coach Mike Canales is expected to work the southeast this week in looking at future prospects. Canales is expected to be in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida.

It will be interesting to see how Tennessee's visit list for the final weekend shapes up. With Shamburger saying he's solid, will they visit any other defensive backs. At this point we don't believe so. New Jersey running back John Lovett is expected in town on an official visit. Running back Timmy Jordan, who took an official visit this weekend to the Vols, indicated he could make a decision this week between the Vols and North Carolina which could effect how Tennessee handles the visits this weekend.
