Couple of quick things, everyone when they signed up for a subscription with Yahoo agreed to a privacy policy and a terms of service.
The law now requires that everyone be notified of any new/updated terms of service. With Yahoo going under the Oath umbrella the terms of service has to be updated by Oath. It's the law. Oath has detailed the terms and conditions in their policy.
If you don't agree to the terms then at some point (I don't have a specific date) access to the site will be blocked until you agree to the terms or elect to cancel.
