Hopeful thinking here, time will tell, but I think:
Soft fall camp, players didn't get acclimated to the physicality and speed of a real game, thus 4 fumbles and soft line play... they punched us in the mouth and we were not ready
Vanilla game plan, backfired when we got punched in the mouth
Glad the hype train is over, lets get back to work, if the above two are correct, all that will matter in the end is that we found a way to get the W.
Still very concerned about the vertical and mid-range passing game. Also, Dobbs extra weight appears to have slowed him down a bit, imo.
