This is not an attempt to disparage current NBA players but it is something I thought about in watching The Last Dance and considering the debates about who Jordan & the Bulls vanquished over the years.

The question is, who currently in the NBA is a sure fire top 50 all-time player?

Obviously I quickly came up with LeBron James. That's a no-brainer. Otherwise, I wasn't sure. Maybe Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry and maybe Giannis and Kawhi Leonard?

I guess Jimmy Butler is an ascending star and even if I don't like his game maybe James Hardin is a possible HOFer but otherwise I'm not sure who currently in the league will be a sure fire Hall of Famer much less top 50 all-time.

So if you have any additions to the list above please share your thoughts.
