Everybody would be like, yeah our offense rules, we can overcome the defensive woes, blah, blah, blah. The sugar high of the win would have overshadowed the serious gaps we have in our roster. Sure, there would still be some fussing, but taking an L vs a W increases and intensifies the need to fix/improve/patch the problem areas in the short term with portal while long term recruiting take root. In short, it can be a good thing if addressed. I'll probably get ripped but who cares.
