COVID has eliminated the ability for Pruitt and team to participate in Spring Practice, Summer Camps, Workouts and Fall Camp. IMO this changed everything. Now, I'm not happy with our performance or embarrassment vs Ken Tuck. The Kentucky loss was the worst I've seen this VOL team look and it deserves criticism. That said, while Year 3 is important to show progress and take a step forward, Pruitt has his hands tied this year.
This BYE week couldn't come at a better time. Not everyone is a PUMPER like me. I'm sure Pruitt feels the heat from VOL Nation to win, but I'm not gonna give up on Cornbread in a horrible COVID season. There's too much at stake: Recruiting where we have a great start and finding the right coach is never easy. TENNESSEE has always hired coaches with no HC experience and I don't think that will change with the Haslam led TNBOT.
GO VOLS!!
