I keep seeing posts about a depleted roster, rebuilding, last year for Butch, etc. Sure we lose some good players but in college, all teams do. We still have talent at many positions and shirley some of those guys who have potential but not yet developed, will. I am as disappointed as anyone about this season and frankly do not have confidence Butch can turn it around to bring us all the way back. Having said all that...
We have a nice schedule next year and should be capable of winning at least 9 games. A lot of it depends on the opposition but the east is still going to be down. Bama will be Bama but we do not know what LSU will be as a west opponent. SCjr will improve but still will not be strong. I think the luck of Florida comes to an end next year. As always, UGA will be talented, but they are still UGA.
Next season is probably going to tell us more about Butch than this season, not only how he develops players (or lack thereof), or manages on game day, but also what he does in the off season. We have a good shot IMO of a good, not great season in 2017. Of course, could also tank again
