I’ve wanted us to wait till we had the signatures for this class before announcing a new HC. I was willing to take a few lumps with the transfer portal and keep the majority of the difference makers in this class at UT. That’s a pipe dream now. We’ve had two gigantic decommitments in four days. We’re fixing to lose this class. It’s coming. We better make a move ASAP. This program just needs a spark of excitement. A lot of these kids are looking for reasons to go to Tennessee, but unfortunately Pruitt doesn’t provide that. We’re gonna have to salvage what we can of this class and hit the transfer portal with a new coach.

This program is dead in the water until we get this guy out of here.
