He’s easily the most mentally tough. I played with a guy very similar to him in high school and oddly enough he had transferred from somewhere in the city. Anyway, his mental toughness and grit can’t be overstated in my opinion. The guy I played with would smother you defensively and didn’t care your size. I am 6’3” and played the wing but in practice we intentionally took him to the block and he NEVER wanted to switch although coach wanted him to. He would push and pinch and dig and claw for every inch and his hands were so damn fast. Was a literal Wolverine on defense. Surely is fun watching him in person. Although it brings up memories of how max guys would get at him in practice and you hated when he was guarding you. If your hands ever dropped he was wreaking havoc. It was such a joy watching him do it to other teams however.
