100% Jim Chaney’s fault. He lost the game for our players. With a 21-17 lead on 3rd and 14 he had our QB drop back deep against the best pass rush in the country which lead to a turnover(horrible play call, hand it off and punt is only option in that situation). On 3rd and 1 with a 21-20 lead instead of handing it off or sneaking it he calls a stupid pass play that leads to a pick(horrible play call, keep the ball on the ground and getting first or punting if you don’t is the answer in that situation against that defense).
Had we kept the ball on the ground with a 21-17 lead and punted back and forth, our defense would’ve never got tired and UGA wouldn’t have moved the ball on us. Chaney is good at a lot of things but he absolutely abandons the run.
