Wednesday night as a hitter:

3 for 4 with 2 HRs and 8 RBI. Hit a game tying 3 run HR down 3 in the bottom of the 9th.

Thursday night as a pitcher and hitter:

Pitching
- 8 IP 2 H 0 R 1 BB 13 K's- also the game was 1-0 in the 7th inning. 3-0 in the 8th. Every pitch was high leverage. He didn't have a cushion to coast.

The first 2 batters of the game hit singles. He threw a no hitter to the remaining 25 batters he faced only walking 1. His 90th pitch of the game was 100 MPH. This start game after he thew 6 shutout innings in his last start.

Through 12 starts his ERA is 2.90 with 90 strikeouts in 68 innings with only 16 walks.

Hitting in the 2 hole- he was 1 for 3 with 2 walks. Getting on base 3 times the same game as him having an epic performance on the mound.

Got off to a slow start at the plate but has been heating up- .260 with 15 HRs and a .336 OBP. Last year he hit 46 HRs and stole 26 bases.

His talent is overwhelming. To be that elite as a pitcher and hitter against the best players in the world AND to be that conditioned to play every night as a hitter/OFer. While also hitting the same game as you pitch.

It is a shame he plays in LA and is rarely seen by east coasters. But we have never seen an athlete like this before.
