...and do justice to the required labor & time invested! A delicious white sauce can really complement the flavor of smoked chicken, turkey, etc...IMO
I typically only like the white sauce with smoked poultry, but I know for a fact we have legit pit masters in our midst!
A good friend of mine & Tennessee boy, lives in Opelika (retired Auburn profressor) and always hooks me up w/ Alabama White Sauce he buys locally at a local farmer's market. Unfortunately, our group yearly reunion of several buddies who've known each other since elementary school/ jr. high didn't happen this year (thanks 2020!), so no white sauce provided.
