Would love to see us do it exactly like they do next season.
They minimize moving parts.
Their Sam is a 220 pound guy who looks like a big safety... Similar build and skill set to Todd Kelly, Quarte Sapp, Solon Page. The Sam plays where the Nickel plays in terms of alignment.
When they need to no go Nickel, one of their starting Safeties rolls down to Nickel and the Sam is subbed out for a replacement Safety... 3 guys move and you are in a totally different personnel package.
Gaulden could certainly play safety when we are in a 4-3 and roll down to Nickel...
