Someday, I hope, my daughters will gift me with grandchildren — no pressure, ladies — and someday, I will take them on a road trip to Canton, Ohio, to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We will go through the facility, taking in all the history of the game, and at some point, we will stop at the bronze bust belonging to Peyton Manning, where we will linger and I will tell them stories about a man I was blessed to watch and cover from 2000 until his exit from Indianapolis after the 2011 season.
