We all know that some players move way up during the combines and some move way down so projected draft reports have some variances but they at least show who will probably play at the next level.
The Draft Report I just read has more than just the first round projected players so I wrote down positions for AL through the first three rounds. According to this report they show the following positions being taken in rounds 1-3: OLB, CB, DE, OT, ILB, TE, SS, S, DT. As for UT, they show Barnett and Sutton in round 1 and JRM late in round 2. All but two of Bama's players are projected in rounds 1 and 2 and another report has six players projected in the first two rounds in 2018.
If we had all of our starters they would have struggled to make this a good game especially when you give up a pick 6 and ST TD but having our second and third string against potentially 15 players projected in the first three rounds this year and next is a disaster just like Saturday.
