I am moving into my new house next week. I have a bonus room and have my sectional from my old house that's still in great shape. It has three power recliners and in the old house I had an outlet in the floor right where the sectional was located, so no issues. Now in the new house there is not an outlet in the floor and I do not want to have to position the sectional close to a wall or anything as the middle of the room is the perfect place with the surround sound, etc.
So, my questions are the following:
1. How difficult is it for an electrician to add an outlet in the floor? The bonus room is on the 2nd floor.
2. Has anyone bought one of the batteries that you can use to charge and then plug your power chairs into the battery? If so, any particular brand that you recommend?
3. Any other ideas that I am just not thinking about? I'm not the best DIY type of guy for things like this.
