Looking at changing up my credit card to get something with some more travel benefits. Really intrigued by the AmEx Plat card. Spend $6k over 6 months and get 100,000 points (about $2k in value), plus some other bonuses in the first 6 months. Would hit that $6k no problem as it would be used as our main card for those 6 months.
I'm hesitant at the $695 annual fee though. That's monstrous. It would pay itself off in some ways like giving me $20/month for audible and SiriusXM which I'm already paying for, and the same for Uber which is always good to use on those nights out.
For those that have it, is it worth it? For those that have other cards that focus on travel rewards, what do you have and why?
