We just closed on an Airbnb in Nashville. New construction that all 4 bedrooms and the living area have the ceiling fan/light with remote. We’ve stayed a couple times to make sure we find the kinks before stayers do. We found a couple small things but the major thing is that the light comes on in the middle of the night if the fan is on. I found several things about this happens in townhouse complexes (which ours is in one) and that signals from neighbors/garage door openers etc interfere and mess with the fan/lights. My question is does anyone have any experience with this and is there anything we can do hardwiring to not use remote signal or do we just need to replace all 5 fans. The immediate fix until is we’re just leaving a note to adjust thermostat to comfort and at night turn the light/fan off at switch and not use fan until resolved
