Someone asked Jesse in the Monday Night Chat who is featured in his avatar. I said "Bernie Sanders," but that post was deleted. The same goes for the post I made to attempt to clarify the post [as well as the joke], in which I pointed out that Larry David has appeared on SNL a number of times portraying Bernie Sanders [and he looks a bit like him even without makeup, so that makes sense].
What doesn't make sense is why that second post was also deleted. Honestly, anyone familiar with the guy probably understood the joke from the outset; but, it's possible they didn't, so whatevs in re the first post. The deletion of the second one seems a little arbitrary, tho, given that it clearly wasn't abrasive or political... or abrasively political. So, a little clarification on what is or isn't kosher would be appreciated.
If it's simply "Don't refer to any political figure," okay... but there are going to be a lot of deleted posts/threads if that's the case.
Regardless, I'm hoping that one of the mods might give a sort of general guideline or two about it. Thanks in advance, @Brent_Hubbs @Austin_Price @Jesse_Simonton @Rob Lewis
