Hey all, I am pretty much completely off frame rebuilding a 1985 Jeep CJ7 (wanted a 67-76 Gen II Bronco but too expensive). I am doing all the work except going to get the tub, fenders, grille, hood, and all sheet metal media blasted and painted by a pro.
My plan is Smokey Gray for all that with black frame and roll bars and orange accents like seat belts etc.
Told paint guy what I wanted to do. He asked me to find a car color code (GM, Ford, etc) and could do it easy. When I search I come up with these paint codes from UT for Smokey Gray:
CMYK 0 0 0 80
HEX 58595B
RGB 88 89 91
PMS COOL GRAY 11
Are any of these useable or just print codes or has anyone else done something similar and have an automaker paint code that is very close to or Smokey Gray? TIA
