I'm a huge fan of both shows and completely caught up.
Which show do you think has the better rewatch value? GoT has so much more depth and plot lines, yes, but little about GoT is ambiguous. For instance, with Westworld, you can watch the first season many times and still come to new conclusions or new understandings about characters.
While I'm sure the same can be said about GoT, I've read the books, so little in the first five seasons was truly shocking or out of nowhere. On the other hand, Vikings was confusing and ambiguous at times. There was no source material to have read prior (or at least I didn't read any) to figure out where the show was going. Some twists at the end also had nice payoffs.
Anyways, all that's to say, I'm leaning Vikings. I'll also add I've seen each GoT season like 5 times, but the Vikings just once. So maybe that slants my opinion. Anyway, thoughts?
