OT: Bourbon Drinkers (and searchers)

I have an opportunity to buy several bottles (750 ml) of Weller 12 for $90.00 each. I know that it is way over priced....but it is one of my favorite bourbons. I am tired of checking liquor stores over and over to see if they have gotten some in.
The season is coming for the releases of Pappy, BTAC, etc. What is your position on overpaying for Bourbon to get what you want and do you have any good stories of finding a stash.
