I’m dealing with some ground water issues in my crawl space. I’ve had a sump pump installed and for peace of mind I’m considering encapsulating the crawl space now. I’m seeing and hearing some conflicting things on what to do with air flow after it’s encapsulated and looking for help from those that know.
1. Do we need to have the existing HVAC reworked to allow for an airflow supply in and out of the crawl space so that the crawl space becomes conditioned?
2. Just install a dehumidifier in the crawl space to deal with the humidity?
3. Both 1 and 2?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
