It's a really well done documentary. The stuff about his mother is really brutal and tragic. There is a lot if good archival footage. Obviously the Yardbirds and Cream are covered. There's footage in the studio with George Harrison. There's footage with The Beatles. There's a Blind Faith piece. Some good, but too short, footage of Duane Allman. The Pattie Boyd story is told in context. There are session tapes from the Layla sessions.
The show is not a fluff piece. The personal destruction parts and the life and death of his son are tough to watch. I do recommend the show to anyone who was alive in the 60s and 70s, if for no other reason than it's a good musical walk down memory lane.
