I’m looking for advice on the best path forward buying some fairway woods.

I used to play a lot of golf when I was younger and was fairly decent. Over time life got in the way, and I have probably averaged 6 rounds a year over the last decade (I’m more or less a bogey golfer at this point with my short game being my saving grace).

At some point I decided I couldn’t be consistent enough with my driver and just started hitting irons off the tee box - I could pretty consistently put my 4 iron in the fairway 200+.

I want to get back in to playing more consistently and need to pick up some fairway woods (I gave my old ones to my dad years ago). I figure if I can stick to my resolution this year and continue to play more consistently I will upgrade woods again in a couple of years.

Background on my game: I’m looking for forgiveness as I tend to draw and at times hook my driver. If I keep my drive (2012 Ping i20) straight enough, I’m guessing I average 270-280. I currently have Mizuno JPX900s in my bag, and I strike them surprisingly well for as little as I play. I hit the PW 150 out of the fairway and usually bump up 10 yards or so per iron.

I know there are some real serious golfers out there that know the different clubs and their characteristics. Any advice? Should I try going with an older model (a year or two old), and try to save a little while getting re-accustomed to hitting woods? Or should I just stop acting like a poor and spend up, haha?

Thanks in advance, and advice is appreciated!
