Financing / kitchen renovation gurus -
We're renovating our kitchen and master bathroom later this year. We have the cash to handle this renovation, but I'm wondering how the financing would work if I was to finance this instead. For instance, can you get a decent rate if you are willing to put half of the loan amount or so in a separate stock account, etc.? My goal is to take a loan while still investing in the market, and use what I invest in the market as collateral against the loan to reduce the rate. Thoughts? Also, any insight in rates / duration of loans like this?
Thanks,
