i bought a hog share last year from a local farm and i'm wondering what to do with the ham. i'd like to smoke it on the grill but i'm not finding many good ideas online because these folks are all starting with a pre-cooked ham. has anyone ever tried something like this?
i know it's not rocket science...i'm thinking i will give it a good rub with the same stuff i use on a shoulder and stick it over indirect heat for a bunch of hours...but just curious to see if anyone has experience.
