Hey guys, I am leaving tomorrow to spend a week in Rosemary Beach. We are staying at a condo that doesn't have a beach set up available (ie chairs and umbrella), so we are improvising a bit. I have chairs that I'm borrowing from my in-laws, and I thought I would bring my 10x10 tailgating tent down with us.

I see these tents set up all the time at the beach. My question is what is the easiest and most reliable way to secure it? I know you can use a deadman but that seems like a bit of a pain considering I would be taking it down each night to avoid getting ticketed. I have seen some spiral-type tent stakes that I could anchor and tie on to, and I've also seen several suggested methods for weighing the tent down. What have you guys used in the past? GBO
