Anyone have experience with this? Any Urologists on GQ?
Have had a 5mm stone lodged in my ureter about an inch from my bladder for last 7 weeks or so ( since CT scan, obviously have had it for longer). Scheduled to undergo this procedure in a.m.
Dr also says he will put a stent in for 2-3 weeks afterwards. Leery as hell about this, but am sick of the somewhat intermittent, but agonizing pain.
Already postponed it once, thinking I could/would pass it, but in 5 weeks it has barely moved.
Wife & I have a vacation to British Columbia scheduled for June 8-22.
Someone please tell me something to make me feel better about it...
Any prayers, positive vibes, etc are also obviously appreciated.
