OT: Kidney Stones

[southtexasvol]

Had a CT scan a couple days ago and revealed a 5mm kidney stone.

I've never dealt with kidney stones but have obviously heard passing them, especially one this size, can be the worst pain in your life.

Advice on dealing with this? Should I just schedule a surgery and have it removed or try to pass it?
