Hey guys. My diet bet is over and i am now able to lift until my hearts content. I am at 256 right now 6'1. I have 9 weeks from tomorrow until my race. I'm a teacher and have roughly 6 weeks of summer left before we return to school. What can i likely accomplish in these 9 weeks? I'm currently in a 750 calorie deficit and have lost roughly 17 pounds already. Should i drop more weight by doing cardio or should i lift as well as do cardio for training? I didn't know if lifting in deficit mode would be a waste of time. I'm wanting to be successful at this race and want to prepare myself the best i can. Any ideas from you fitness guys?
