i know this is probly insane on a message board, especially with how many potheads we have in TENNESSEE. but here goes anyhow.
i moved into a townhouse 1.5 year ago. wife was in college, i was paying for it so we had to downsize to save money. anyways i now have neighbors (this sucks). they are good people. she has a kid. here is the problem. when they built the complex they only put one dryer vent outlet to every 2 apartments, which means when something is smoked it comes through the dryer and stinks the downstairs bathroom up. we close the door, turn on the vent, spray deodorizer, shut the door and light candles. still it sometimes makes it into the living room. i have talked to them 4 or 5 times now about it. i dont suspect that they will stop smoking pot but it is being intrusive. my grandkids have never been around this before and i am not liking them smelling it. my question is "what would you do"? call the landlord and risk getting a mom thrown out with her kid? call the cops and we all know where that goes plus the dcs involved for years. note i said they are pretty good people. they are not raising hell or partying all night. cars are not coming in and out ever. they are great neighbors other than this one major issue. what would you do?
